CARITAS Global Mission

There is an African Proverb that says, “It takes a whole village to raise a child.”
Here at CARITAS, we ask instead, “How many children does it take to raise a whole village?”

In our current villages, the children have so much potential! Sadly, we need many more loving sponsors to give them all a bright future.

This year, our prayer and ministry will focus on increasing the number of Caritas-Sponsors for the children who need us the most.

Strategic Plan for 2020:

  1. New Position in our Ministry and Development team – With the addition of a dedicated Missionary Priest, CARITAS will spread the message to thousands of faithful people in parishes throughout North America directly.
  2. Increase awareness of our ministry – Through the internet, CARITAS will spread the message of faith, love, and hope while creating more opportunities for people to get involved. Our Missionary Priest will be instrumental in furthering our global impact via the internet.
  3. Expand our sponsorship programs – Continue to care for the children in our current locations by increasing sponsorships. We will also be developing more Catholic outreach programs in new countries, starting with Belize.

These 3 avenues will give us the boost we need to increase sponsorships, provide tuition costs, daily meals, clean water, clothing, and school supplies to more children worldwide.

Thank you for your prayers and support. It is thanks to you that the CARITAS ministry continues to make a lasting impact in the world.

Mother Teresa said “If you cannot feed a hundred people, then just feed one.”

We started with one child over 20 years ago. Now, we help sponsor over 700!

Please join us on our Global Mission to increase our number of child sponsorships and raise these villages!

“Thanks for your total commitment in serving God’s people in CARITAS for His needy children. There is joy in service, may God grant you His fulfillment here on earth and in the life to come.”
