CARITAS for Children promotes the adoption and supports the health, education, and welfare of orphaned and abandoned children worldwide. CARITAS works with Catholic Religious Orders that directly provide the on location care and services to needy children. CARITAS strives to establish efficient communication links and methods to convey information between recipients and donors to assure not only fundraising effectiveness and integrity, but to help all involved grow in their Faith and Catholic Gospel understanding.
Mother Kevin CARITAS
In addition to the necessary costs for day-school education, children
sponsored in this program come to the Mother Kevin CARITAS Center in
Nkokonjeru, Uganda each day to receive:
- Daily nurturing guidance from our Sisters and other staff
- Two meals per day
- School uniform and other needed clothing
- Books and educational supplies
- Basic medical support
- Clean drinking water
- Counseling and religious instruction
- ...and more
Stella Maris CARITAS
Orphaned children and those with no place to live demand a higher level
of services than others. Stella Maris is a comprehensive progam that
provides a 24 hour 7 day a week care for children with no home to go
to. As a Primary and Secondary Private Boarding school for girls, all
the possible needs - personal and spiritual - are taken care of,
including:
- Annual Tuition
- ALL personal and incidental expenses
- Transportation
- Medical services
- All clothing expenses
- ...and so much more
The Stella Maris CARITAS program is $1000 a year per child, paid either annually or semi-annually.
